Selected for our interior construction expertise, Structure Tone Southwest partnered with Tableau to complete their new Austin office location.
With many technology companies establishing and growing footprints within Texas, Tableau selected the prominent 600 Congress commercial office tower for their new office location. The high-end interior construction consisted of primarily open office space, conferencing areas, breakroom, and support spaces.
A key challenge to completing this fast-track project was managing the schedule within the occupied facility. To prevent disruptions to existing tenants, our team coordinated night and day work to achieve the target completion date. Additionally, our team collaborated with the building and engineers on the project to solve another construction challenge. The original designs called for a new MSC panel to be installed. This existing design would require the entire 32-story building to shut down. Through our collaborative constructability process, we were able to suggest an alternative route to provide sufficient power to the third floor without the need for widespread shutdowns.
