Structure Tone Southwest and Philo Wilke were tasked with salvaging as much of the existing facility as possible, while creating a new Outpatient Surgical Center.
This surgery center was unique in the design to allow for surgeons to perform procedures in the specialty areas of Orthopedics, Anesthesiology, Gastroenterology, Gynecological Surgery, Ophthalmology, Otolaryngology, pain Management, Podiatry, Radiation Oncology, Urology surgery, General and Vascular surgery all within the 10 operating rooms in the facility.
The scope of work includes the remodel of an existing 36,000sf ASC, containing 10 OR surgical suites, support services, Endo suite, PACU, pre-op, stage II, reception area, central sterile core as well as imaging. The support services included an administration area, reception area, pharmacy, central sterile processing, environmental services, information technologies, maintenance and materials management/laundry.
