WeWork
WeWork has brought an exciting approach to the commercial real estate industry since their inception in 2010. With locations all over the world, WeWork provides shared workspaces that help spark creativity and collaboration for their occupants.
Structure Tone Boston was thrilled with the opportunity to partner with WeWork and Bergmeyer Associates to complete a full floor build out on the 15th Floor of One Beacon Street. One Beacon Street stands tall on top of Boston’s historic Beacon Hill, providing tenants with easy access to all of Boston’s major districts and commuting options. A prime location for WeWork to continue their steady growth in Boston.
The new 30,000sf versatile workspace includes 200+ offices with extensive HVAC and electrical upgrades that increase productivity and innovation. In additional to traditional offices, Structure Tone built out open collaboration spaces, training rooms, a reception area and large cafe. New glass door fronts and polished oak floors were carried throughout the space.
Open communication between our project team, subcontractors, the architect, vendors, and WeWork’s in-house design team was critical to the project’s overall success. Weekly meetings with all involved parties helped to keep the project on schedule and on par with WeWork’s brand standards.
In the 12 months following the completion of this project, we have begun work on an additional five projects for WeWork. This project at One Beacon Street was the first step towards a successful partnership between WeWork and Structure Tone Boston.
