Structure Tone provided construction services to an investment advisor firm for their 15,000sf office relocation project. Construction included the fit-out of perimeter offices, two conference rooms with A/V capabilities, a trading area, a kitchen, and an IT room. Additional scope included the renovation of the elevator lobby and restrooms.
The facility has almost a residential feel and style, with wood finishes and a muted color palette. Variations in the materials promote a level of sophistication. Five types of stone were used on the floors and walls along with five different wall coverings and four different fabric panel designs.
A major challenge on this project was installing the four-inch millwork flooring in front of the perimeter offices. We carefully coordinated the installation due to discrepancies in the concrete floor levels. To accommodate the variations, we constructed each office individually, using the millwork trade’s construction drawings as a guide.
