Structure Tone provided construction management services for the build-out of this client’s office space at 767 Fifth Avenue. Encompassing approximately 35,000sf, the new space boasts high-end finishes and spectacular views of the city skyline and Central Park.
The focus of Centerbridge’s 11th, 12th and 13th floors is collaboration and teamwork. Each floor consists of open workstations, meeting/team rooms, breakout areas, bench seating and support spaces. Private offices are peppered around the perimeter of each floor and several large conference rooms are interspersed among the open floor space.
The finishes are high-end and include exposed columns, Italian travertine floors and fabric ceilings. The conference rooms are outlined in glass office fronts with sliding doors. A large reception area is joined to Centerbridge’s other two floors by an interconnecting staircase with a glass rail around its opening. We replaced the landmarked perimeter Luminous ceiling with Newmat, a stretch ceiling and wall system, to give the office a more modern and updated look. We also upgraded the infrastructure systems, including a new chiller module for nonstop cooling, and installed new UPS/ATS systems.
