LF Driscoll managed a law firm’s office renovation that updated finishes and completed minor MEP upgrades within an active and occupied high-rise office building.
Our team kicked off the project by conducting a site walk-through with the flooring subcontractor to develop a plan to address material lead time, logistical challenges, and how to resolve any unforeseen flooring demolition. We worked diligently with the design team and client during the preconstruction phase to mitigate risks during demolition in order to control the project’s budget prior to the final GMP.
As the project progressed through construction, the scope evolved. LF Driscoll and our subcontractors managed the schedule to safeguard cost and schedule. To ensure our construction activities didn’t interfere with the daily operations of the building, our superintendent frequently communicated with the client and property management.
Our team successfully turned the space over to our client at 2 Logan Square on time and on budget.
