Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey
Structure Tone provided construction management services for the 325,000sf, 10th floor and mezzanine phased renovation of Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey’s headquarters in Newark, NJ.
We oversaw complete renovation of Horizon BCBSNJ’s new workplace standards, including multiple conference rooms, pantries, private offices and open work areas. The project included custom millwork for the executive boardroom and a training center with glass-front conference rooms and Skyfold partitions.
Our team worked on half-floors at a time, ensuring the safety of the floor occupants as well as the construction team. We oversaw the LEED® Gold certification effort, including waste management allocation, air quality control program and management of the process and energy reduction requirements.
