Amazon EU Fashion Photography Studio
Amazon’s 46,000sf photography studio is situated on Geffrye Street under the arches of the East London train line near Hoxton railway station. The building itself was a former glass factory and a steam train repair yard that date back more than 100 years.
Structure Tone commenced with the complete refurbishment of the property in December 2014 that included the following: the installation of 22 photography bays, video editing facilities, a fashion library, an office space, a steel-framed internal mezzanine structure, below ground utilities and the largest cyclorama in London — all within a 24-week programme.
Larger than Amazon’s equivalent facility in Brooklyn, New York, it is currently the biggest photography studio in Europe.
