Bird & Bird LLP – New London HQ
As one of London’s fastest growing law firms, Bird & Bird wanted their new London headquarters to not only allow staff and clients to connect through enhanced communication, driving collaboration and innovation across the business, but also reflect their confidence in the future and provide room for continued growth.
Designed by MCM Architects and fitted out by Structure Tone, the extraordinary 12-floor office centres on an incredible bronzed spiral staircase located in the reception. New client spaces include meeting rooms, offices, seminar and event spaces, and other ancillary facilities across the floors.
Integral to the project are the collaborative working spaces. Cross-practice working floors feature semi-transparent two-person workstations with moveable partitions and furniture solutions to support different working configurations.
Both staff and clients now have an enhanced working environment, where natural light floods the building and adjustable desks provide a tailored working experience. The firm’s 11th floor restaurant is served by a full-service kitchen providing a variety of fresh food as well as views across London’s skyline.
