Confidential Media Client
Structure Tone provided construction services for this confidential media client’s two-floor office build-out. The space encompasses approximately 50,000sf and serves as the company’s executive and support staff offices for the New York headquarters. The client’s goal was to create a work space that increases collaboration, productivity and creativity.
The main reception area is located on the 30th floor of the building. Staff and visitors alike are greeted by the custom stone reception desk and employee lounge/seating area. Unique to the space are media viewing pods. Each pod has a television monitor and a sound dome which allows the user to have a surround-sound experience. The boardroom is situated just off the reception area. The boardroom features a Skyfold partition to separate the room. The remainder of the floor features perimeter private offices, open workstations, conference rooms and a pantry.
The executive floor is located on the 31st floor and as a result, the majority of the floor features private offices and conference areas. A media wall dons the main hallway. Other high-end features include black stone walls, millwork paneling and custom glass fronts, including curved glass walls. The floors in the open areas are polished concrete and all offices and conference areas are carpeted. The finished space features intricate lighting packages.
There was a strong emphasis on schedule and coordination. With the client’s main headquarters located in Chicago, our project team had to coordinate through various channels of communication in order to get the necessary approvals and stay on-track for the final move-in.
